Spa debuts at Vallarta Gardens Mexico
A US$2.2m (1.48m euro, £1.32m) spa called Caracol has opened within the Vallarta Gardens Resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Featuring a spa concierge to welcome each guest into the facility, amenities include a hydrotherapy area, a sauna herbal inhalation room and four treatment rooms.

North Platte swimmers to face McCook, Scottsbluff
The North Platte Bulldog swim team will compete against McCook and Scottsbluff from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 19 at the North Platte Recreation Center. The swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub will be closed to the public during the meet.
