After the first week, the Olympics dry off. Swimming ends and track and field events begin. The track and field competition will have a different feel. One athlete probably won’t dominate. Don’t expect too many records to fall in this air, which often feels like a sauna where your allowed to smoke. But Friday night, we got a glimpse of what should be compelling competition every night.

Chuck Porter, one of the 660 participants in the world's biggest sauna as recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records, is the proprietor of Superior Sauna and Cabin of Ashland. Porter is a hobbyist turned professional as well as a knowledgeable sauna spokesman.
