Gunmen burst into a sauna and killed seven women today as Russian police and separatist militants fought battles across the North Caucasus.

A fire early Sunday damaged a sauna at the Jewish Community Center-YMCA in Sylvania Township, township fire officials said. Fire crews were called to the center, 6465 Sylvania Ave., about 2:30 a.m. yesterday after a commercial fire alarm activated.
