Westin makes New Zealand debut
The new Westin Auckland hotel and spa has opened in New Zealand. Part of the Starwood group, the hotel has been built around a central lagoon and its spa is part of a larger, 8,000sq ft (743sq m) wellness centre, which also has a gym, sauna and indoor lap pool.

Grand Cascades opens Biosphere
HARDYSTON — The new $7 million Biosphere at Grand Cascades Lodge at Crystal Springs is open. In addition to two free-form swimming pools, an underground aquarium and a hot tub, the 10,000-square-foot pool complex includes a 140-foot water slide, a vortex pool and a cave-themed steam room and sauna.
