LEAVENWORTH — A small building housing a sauna and spa tub, located at 9950 Merry Canyon Road, was badly damaged by fire about 7:30 p.m. Monday. Kelly O’Brien, chief of Fire District 3 in Leavenworth, said no one was injured and crews were able to keep the fire from spreading to a nearby house. The house is a weekend rental home owned by Donald Whalen of the Seattle area.
