Finns are hot-and-sweaty champions
HELSINKI Timo Kaukonen, of Finland, retained his position as the male world champion sauna-sitter, sweating it out for 12 minutes and 26 seconds in a sauna heated to 110C (230F). Leila Kulin, a fellow Finn, took the female title after enduring the heat for 10 minutes and 31 seconds, almost two minutes better than her closest rival, another Finn.
